UC Web Strengthens Team in Indonesia

Alibaba name has been so popular in the realm of the Internet in China. But in Indonesia, these vendors have started to clean up and is preparing for his local team.

Alibaba expansion in Indonesia try initiated through UCWeb, this is the company behind UC browser, mobile browser usually decorate Android phone users.

In the realm of the browser on mobile devices, UC Browser is a tough competitor Opera and Baidu. However, based on data from StatCounter, products from China was still in the top position with 28.51% market share in March 2015.

Launch UC Browser for Android in Indonesian in 2012 created the momentum for UCWeb and Alibaba to start a trip in Indonesia. This time it was noted that more than 85% of users in Indonesia is UC Browser Android users.

Speaking about the development of UC Browser in the future, Jonathan Zhong, Head of UCWeb Indonesia, said the company was able to increase local energy cooperation.
